I just left a similar review on the LED dog collar I purchased at the same time. These were both great purchases.I walk or jog with my dog every morning. We go early so it is dark during the winter months. We are mostly on the sidewalk, but we do cross the street and on some quiet streets jog on the road itself. We both have reflective vests but those only reflect light, i.e. ONLY if you are in the headlights. A car at an intersection about to pull forward will not always see us....even if we are nearly in front of them. Seemed smart to buy LED gear for both of us.This LED vest has been great for me. it has 2 separate LED's, each controlled separately. I have noticed bicyclists have flashing LEDs on the back, so I do the same....setting the LED on the back to flashing. It is very noticeable from far away. On the front, I select constant ON. The vest can be worn with either LED in front or back, it is not really directional per se. You just pull it on. I didn't even adjust mine, just pulled it on.My dog and I walk or jog daily 20 to 40 minutes. I have had to charge this vest 1 time after 2 weeks use, which is great. It gets gradually dimmer when it needs a charge. Simple to charge. The LED light pulls out of the pocket of the vest to make access to the USB plug easy. It comes with charging cord. It does not come with the USB wall charger, but I have a lot of those around the house, as well as several outlets with USB chargers built in (very handy if you are considering getting one). Anyway, the only downside is the charging indicator is pretty tiny and difficult to see. Whatever, not a deal killer. You pull 1 LED out, charge it, then repeat with the other. Simple. I don't recall how long they charged, I really didn't pay attention. I hooked them up, let them charge, came back later, they were done.In terms of visibility, we purchased these originally because I had seen other early morning walkers with LED gear on and I saw them far away. Seems logical they see me now. And I have had several instances recently where a car clearly sees us as their driving behavior changes...either they are braking early before an intersection, moving over or otherwise, indicating they are seeing us far earlier than before we purchased this gear. This was a very inexpensive, easy to use, non-intrusive means of increasing my safety and my dog's safety. Glad we purchased this LED vest, and my dog's LED collar.

This was an inexpensive and effective solution to ensuring I'm notice when I'm walking at dawn/dusk. The vest is lightweight and fits over whatever I'm wearing. It's adjustable and includes lights on the front AND back that you can set to flash fast, slow, or stay solid. I'm thinking about buying these for my friends who walk as well before daylight! So far, I haven't had to recharge - but did it before first use. The included charger is easy to use.

I use this when I’m walking the neighborhood. There are no sidewalks so I have to walk in the road. It gets dark early in the winter and this comes in very handy so cars can see me. It’s lightweight and adjustable to fit snug or loose. Not super stylish but it gets the job done.

Although technically, this is not a vest, I love this “reflective vest.†It was easy to put on over a T-shirt, over a hoodie, and over a bulky winter coat—the Carhartt Montana coat which is very well insulated. And I easily fit the vest over the coat and hood, and it could even expand further. I would say a plus size person could fit this over their coat also.The color is definitely blaze, orange and reflective, even when the light is off.I love that you can switch the light from off, to steady on, to fast blinking, and slow blinking. I would’ve given it five stars if it were not for one exception. There were no instructions on how and where to connect the USB charger. It had some charge when it arrived, however, the one instruction that was provided is that it recommended that you charge the best as soon as you get it. The light is nice and bright. I did not edit the photo the brightness is as it truly appears in real life. But the things that made me take away one star is that you have to pull out the on off button, which is also attached to the strip that lights up and then you can attach the USB. You also have to push that whole assembly back into the reflective vest. The small opening to get the on off button, which is a square, out of the vest is very tight. Probably so that it doesn’t fall out easily. However, it also made it difficult to get it out. If you have big hands, you might really struggle with this. But the neoprene enclosure did stretch a little after I removed the button the first time so it was easy to get it back in the little pocket.Having a USB charger instead of a button battery which are expensive and little kids like to put them in their mouth, is a great feature.The vest is lightweight and comfortable and I think it is a great value for the money. I plan to buy two more as gifts.

Works great. Easily adjusts for bulky winter clothing but also cool and lightweight in summer, which is a fantastic feature. Looks great and makes biker very visible at night. Isn’t lit up when charging, which is convenient in some situations. Seems durable to me.

UPDATE 2022-10-14:After a couple months the reflective tape around the waist band detached from the elastic band. Contacted the seller with no response so far. Overall, this product works well, but I might have to sew the reflective tape onto the elastic to make it last. Knocked it down a star due to durability.ORIGINAL REVIEW:Bought this mostly for running. I turn the front light on steady and the back one on slow blink. I noticed right away that drivers see me much sooner and are more likely to pause and let me pass. The material is extremely reflective. Will be great for walking the dog in the fall and winter when it's darker longer. For the money, I don't think you can beat this. It took me a few runs to get the straps adjusted properly, but there is plenty of material to cover teens through large adults. Remains to be seen how long the electronics last, but if I need to shell out $25 annually for a new pair, I think it's worth it to not get hit by a car/bus/plane/train/elephant/etc.

Perfect for our night walks. Lightweight, adjustable and very impressed with the how long the lights have lasted! Have worn dozens of times without the light dimming. Always worn on the full light but has a mode where it can be flashing as well.

This works better than I thought it would. It's lightweight but doesn't bounce around, it's bright, the battery lasts a long time. I would buy again.

We do multiple walks a day, and during the winter months 2 or 3 of them are in the dark. In the fall, 1 or two. So I wanted something more than just the little clip-on lights I had been attaching to my clothing for our walks. I'm not sure how many hours or walks these last once charged because the walks vary, but even if they get weak on a walk, there is still the reflective coating to give me extra visibilty. If I said they lasted a week I might be in the right ballpark though. Charging does not take very long - but I walk away so I'm not sure if it's an hour or two, and I have the two charging simultaneously as the package comes with two USB connectors. They are waterproof as well, so whether it's a rainy day or not, I'm covered. And overall, it's pretty important for me to have that security as I was within inches of being clipped by a driver who must have been looking at a cell phone when we were more than half-way across an intersection that we had the right of way on, and I was waving at them as we passed in front to make sure they saw us. I would highly recommend this.
