This was my first ever Paint-by-Number Kit and I’m so happy with the way it turned out! When I picked it, I purely judged by the picture, had no idea about the difference in difficulty levels for PBNs in general, the amount of small areas I would need to consider, the time it would take me to complete the piece. And it took me a long time! I ended up ordering an extra set of paints since the original ones dried out in the process and I didn’t want to dilute them. So these days I just order extra paints when I order the actual kit. But probably not everyone might need the extras if they are simply faster - the amount of paint was enough. Now that I’ve completed my first PBN project, I’m hooked)). It’s such a fun, creative and at the same time challenging hobby! Working on it felt like it was 100% mine - yes, of course, you have it pre-drawn and the paint colors are pre-mixed for you, but still it was a lot of creative effort on my part. If I could recommend something to the people doing the kit for the first time, is getting professional acrylic brushes of different sizes - cannot even tell you how much easier and more enjoyable the process will be. Overall, I’m very happy with this kit - the canvas quality was good (I bought the pre-stretched canvas), the art and the rendering of it - very pretty, the pricing is comparable to other PBN kits. Edit:After contacting Ledgebay, they quickly mailed a news set of paints to me. Thank you so much!Sadly, after paying 39.99 plus tax for this product, at least 5 of the paint pots are dry and unusable. I’ve found one pot that is good. I’m so disappointed, but I’d be a happy customer if my paints were replaced with good ones.

Pros: it looks very nice despite it not looking like the photo that’s advertised. The paint dries fast enough that you can work on several sections at once. Kit recommends top to bottom. I went across.Cons: there’s only one small brush and this has a lot of small sections. I had to but small brushes to finish the tiny sections. Also the blue #24 is very thin so you’ll need to apply several coats which I will have to do.

I am so addicted and obsessed with this painting! The quality of the paint is great and I love that the kit came with all the supplies needed to enjoy this project!I’m on my third sit down of enjoying this painting and I cannot wait to finish and order more!The difficulty level is challenging but fun. The kit came with three small paint brushes and one larger brush. I have mostly used the smaller ones he’s and only the big one once. The numbers are printed clearly and very easy to follow.For under $30 this is a great stress relief project!

I know that a paint by number set cannot look exactly like the original, but these colors are not even close in some places. To me, the sky looks like it was done in crayons. The original had blue in the sea and a blue bicycle, but no blues were provided in this set. The main color scheme are shades of gray. There are 4 gray paints in this set and they are used in the boardwalk, beach and sea. It's hard to tell where the board walk ends and the beach begins and then where the beach ends and the sea begins. The fenders of the bicycle are painted with one of those grays, so I substituted a lavender to make them visible. Most all of the paints required a couple drops of water to be usable, but 2 of the paints were so hard they were unredeemable. The description of the set says there are 4 brushes included, but I only received 3. When I contacted customer service, they said they upgraded the brushes, so now they only give 3. But all three are round brushes and you also need a flat brush. I had use one I already had. It may be that they just sent the wrong paints for this picture, but I won't be taking a chance on another one.

After painting this I wanted to update with my frustration. The paints just didn't cover the numbers well enough on the lighter colors. I'm not exaggerating when I say I had to go over the whites and yellows 4 or 5 times. There must be a way to either make the paint more opaque or lighten the ink on the nunbers.This is a quality kit. I have wasted money buying cheap ones with lousy brushes. This comes stretched canvass/framed and ready to paint and hang on your pall. The quality brushes wint leave you frustrated and the kit supplies everything you need to enjoy painting.

Paint set I ordered showed a “Teal Green Bicycleâ€â€¦however working on the painting, the paint numbers indicated were numbers 14 gray and 15 another gray for the bicycle 🤔…there’s not even Teal shades of paint in the kit 🤷â€â™€ï¸. I ordered this set because I loved the look of the Teal Bicycle . This was very misleading and I’ve lost interest in finishing it

Just received this painting. I was super excited to start it. Then after I did my first color.. I realized that I just painted the wrong color due to there being two "11's"..Yes there is a 9 under the first 11. But I didn't see it until after I closed the paint color lid. I'm thankful that I only did a small amount at first & not the whole painting in the wrong color.I will be double checking from now on.

I have purchased several different paint by number kits from Amazon. This is one of the best. The easel is perfect, the paints are all perfect, and the brushes are really nice. If you are new to paint by numbers…just know, they are very tedious and take dozens of hours to complete. Takes a lot of patience, but so therapeutic!

The painting was bought as a gift. Everything was present and well packed. But I didn't expect it to be so complicated, and it upset the birthday girl.
