Needed to run a few cameras outside and I didn't want to just stick a keystone in a box. With these plates I just use regular outdoor electrical boxes. Professional looking, sturdy, easy and inexpensive.

Remodeling my house and I've setup a 24 port switch next to my router box in a specified tech closet. From there I've hardwired 3 Ethernet lines to each room in the house. We're a PC gaming family, with 4 PCs, so I run one line to the computer desks in each room, one line to the wall tv mount (that's on a double box with an electric outlet and a keystone wall plate), and the third line is a double either at the computer or the tv for the potential to connect a playstation, etc. These double ports come in handy, giving me that extra option for hardwiring in at the same location. It also helps me avoid unsightly cords. Totally worth the time and effort for install in my opinion to have a hardwired house.

I am using these to add Cat5e Ethernet to some rooms in my house. I paired them with some ELEGRP wall plates and I think it looks great. Had no issue getting my keystones to fit. Love the results. I like the threaded metal insert in this panel.

I ordered these to finish a data project in my home. These worked perfectly for my office as I wanted to hardwire as many devices as possible for internet and data functions. They were spendy, but worth it at the time.

Legrand quality, much better than the cheap ones you can get. Worked well, keystones from a few different vendors fit snug and flush.

I purchased 50 of these for a project. More than half of them broke when trying to insert Ethernet jack into them. The locking mechanism is just a little thin plastic bar on each end of the jack plug. I had no problem with any other kind of keystone jack.

Won't fit 5e terminal provided by BellMTS. Disappointing. I won't order again.
