Easy to install. Two methods for wires to be attached. The insert method does work better but may require you to trim existing wires if they were looped in a previous installation. The GFCI works as needed. The self test function also helps the safety.

Bought several packs of ten to redo exterior decks and porches. Looks great with matching faceplate and grey exterior boxes.( I ran the metal wrapped wire for the industrial look.)

Purchased two GFCI outlets that required full wiring prior to ensuring that the test and reset buttons actually work, which they DID NOT.The Legrand radiant 2097TRGRYCCD4 is solidly built with functional buttons and automatic testing every three seconds.Save yourself the aggravation of installing and uninstalling two pieces of complete junk, only to install one that's actually functional.

I replaced all my kitchen, breakfast nook, and bathroom wall plates and switches (including GFI), because the areas are bronze-toned and my doorknobs are bronze (also in my state, they are mandatory in areas where there is water). They look beautiful. If you install them yourself, it's a good idea to buy a voltage meter thing (don't know what it's called), so you can tell if there's any power going to the wires you're working on - just to be safe. Easy to install if you follow directions and have some experience with electrical. This one place wanted $1000 to install 8 of these and regular light switches!! Save some money if you can. These work great.

The photo for this outlet clearly has WR written on it. That means it’s weather resistant. But the item shipped is not a weather resistant outlet. If you know your model numbers you can figure this out. But just by looking at the item pictures you are getting the wrong thing.

I buy all my GFCI 20A plugs weather resistant because i use them outside. the picture shows it to be a WR type plug. I receive the order and they either sent the wrong one or the description is wrong.
