I have an OceanDigital radio which connects instantly to the wifi I have pre-set. The Le Mega radio does not. Sometimes I have to enter the password for my wifi sometimes I don't. The connection is rarely easy or automatic. Once you succeed in connecting, the sound is good, searching for stations is easy - 40 presets compared to 99 for OceanDigital. It's a breeze setting up presets on the OceanDigital; annoyingly tricky on the Le Mega. The Le Mega has its own dedicated charger. The OceanDigital relies on a USB cable, but the input is flaky. Thus the Le Mega wins on battery time. I would love to combine the best of each. Actually, I tend to use the Le Mega most, largely because of the long time I get on the Le Mega. It's also a good looking radio. Internet streaming is the future of am radio.

If you want to save/store more than 2 radio stations this radio is not for you. I believe the software/firmware is faulty even though it says in the system settings "software up to date". Really a bummer!!!

If what you want is a radio that will receive radio stations from around the world, then this will work for you. But Lemega has left out the most important feature of ANY Internet radio. Every other one I have seen can be registered with a central database. This allows you to set up many, many favorites ONE TIME on ONE RADIO and then, transfer that list to any other radio you might own. But Lemaga does NOT allow that on this model. This is a crippling issue, unless you like searching and storing 40 or 50 stations each time you get a radio. It is also important when you change your list of favorite stations, as a registered radio will automatically change its station list to match. There are other issues as well. The Bluetooth is, well, very flakey. I've seen the radio repeatedly lock up when I attempt to use it as a Bluetooth speaker. It will work with some devices, and crash with others. There are nice points as well. The sound is good, not great as with the wonderful Roberts Stream 94i, but then, it's half the price and easily available in the US. Other than the terrible omission I mentioned above, it uses the reliable Frontier Nuvola software used by most Internet radios today, so that's a plus.On looks, the light colored cabinet is very classy and blends well with any modern decor.A well designed Internet radio is like a sports car. It's fun to own and impressive to operate. But this is like a sports car that won't go over 40 miles an hour. But if all you want is one radio to listen to stations around the world...and not spend hundreds of dollars...it's a good way to dip your toe into the Internet Radio ocean!

I like the fact that it is battery operated and that it picks up airwave FM and internet radio too. To clarify dab radio is a foreign didital radio standard and this radio does NOT pick up US's newer digital FM stations other than when connected to the internet. IE NO airway digital stations ☹ï¸. The other problem I had was figuring out how to store more than the first two stored buttons. It was very simple, but it was not clear by reading the instructions. The store button # three changes from retrieve with a short press, to store a station with a long press, this was not obvious in use or reading the instructions. Hope this helps other buyers. And I did not receive a remote control with my purchase.
