These shatter-resistant blades are made with a bi-metal construction, so the blades can bend and flex without breaking. At 18 teeth per inch (TPI), these saw blades can cut through tough heavy metals like black pipe, Unistrut and more.

[...as I wrote in a review of the Lenox 24 TPI blades]These are the recent T2 technology hacksaw blades -- Lenox claims they use a "new blade design that delivers up to 100% longer blade life versus the prior generation of LENOX hacksaw blades". The operative words are "...up to...." They don't claim you'll get twice the life, but some improvement that could be as much as 100%.I used one of these 18 TPI blades AND a 24 TPI blade to cut up an old bed-frame (gives me short chunks of L-iron for various future projects). Both blades cut smooth and fast...the18 TPI blade cut a bit faster, as it should. These ARE good blades, and they have good endurance. ...But I sort of doubt the double-life implication.

I have Lenox tools that are from the 60's. Some of the best as longest lasting tools I own were inherited.

I've used the same 18tpt blade for almost 2 years before it gave out. These cut well. One blade at my local store was twice the price of two on AZ. Good buy.

saw blade attachment holes were off center, had to file the rough edges to fit properly on attachment points. product made in mexico, happy to support them there rather than here.

Worked great, definitely waited too long to replace blade that came with saw, much easier to cut anything with a fresh blade.

Lenox are the best, cost the most, and should for how they cut and last. They are very special and I recommend as there is nothing so frustrating as using a Chinese hacksaw blade on a tough, hardened bolt. Spend the money, improve your life. Good splurge in my opinion.

These blades work as advertised. They made easy work of a stubborn exhaust bolt and saved me tons of time and frustration. Better still, made in the USA.
