The rubber lens hood would seem to be fragile but holds up surprisingly well. I owned a similar model, and it lasted a bit over 2 years, this one seems better made and more durable. It is able to provide 3 light coverage settings by gently pulling the hood forward. It fit perfectly on my Nikon P900.

It fits fine but there's a small tear-shouldnt interfere with photography but a little disappointed it has the tear

If your looking for a hood for your Nikon P-950 this is the one you want. The tulip hood will causevignetting at 24mm.

It is ok but it dose not maintain it's shape well. If you place it in your bag it tends to get flat spots that can be intrusive when taking photos.

Inexpensive. Soft rubber does not keep round shape, causing vignetting at wide-angle shots.Returned item.
