We have a mixed EV household in that my car needs this adapter but our other cars do not. Since the Tesla is most recent purchase, we have a normal J1772 charger at home. I bought this item to make it easier to charge my Tesla in that I don't have to find the adapter in the trunk and then replace the adapter after charging. For $30 , I found this as a worthy quality of life improvement keeping the adapter near our charger and not having to mess with the one in the car.It chargers fine with my home charger and I have no reason to believe that it wouldn't work out in the wild at other places. The adapter comes with a nice bag with velcro to hold the bag in place. I'm using the bag and my OEM adapter in my trunk now. So this item improves my life both at home and away!

I am a previous Tesla owner and now have a 2024 Chevrolet Silverado EV RST truck and was wondering if my current Generation 2 Tesla Wall Charger could be used to charge my new truck. This product came in and it worked as described. No issues whatsoever. Time will tell on the durability and dependability of this item, but so far, I am pleased. Build quality seems to be solid as well. For the price and compared to another adapter I purchased for over 100 dollars (US), I am very happy with this price and charging capability.

This review is for the LENZ CCS1 to Tesla Adapter purchased for $79.99 in September of 2024.I borrowed my friend's CSS1 adapter to test out using the Electrify America stations and it worked pretty well. Wanted the ability to charge at Electrify America as a backup to the Tesla Supercharger stations as well but Tesla was sold out of the $125 adapter in their online store.Saw this LENZ CCS1 to Tesla Adapter on Amazon for $79.99 (with $10 coupon) with free shipping and decided to give a try. Was immediately impressed. Adapter was very heavy (like the Tesla branded adapter), the plastic housing was solid, and came with a very handsome carrying case. Went to my local Electrify America 350kW charging station and plugged in. I got up to 150kW charging speed with the adapter. During the charge the adapter never got hot to the touch. I wouldn't be surprised if this adapter isn't the same OEM product Tesla is selling.Overall, a highly recommend. Saved quite a bit of money over the Tesla CSS1 adapter and got a case thrown in.

Much cheaper than other options. It works. At least up to 150kw, but other users have report higher rates. Did no get warm

Bought this adapter to use with a Tesla wall charger and it worked great...for about 60 days. Now when I try to use the adapter nothing happens. Wall charger still works on Tesla and I tried charging a different vehicle with the adapter just to be sure it is the problem. Unfortunately it's too late for me to return.

Recently, my car stopped charging quickly. I thought maybe it was the cold weather but now I’m thinking that it’s this new charger adapter. I’m wondering if others have the same concerns I’m getting about 10 mi/hr in 30F weather. Would like to hear what others are getting.UPDATE: I broke down and bought a charger adapter from Tesla. It’s just as slow. It must be the cold weather. So, I think this charger is just fine.

I thought this would be just another cheap plastic item, but it's so well made and good value for money that I had to recommend it to other Tesla drivers. It's a great adapter to have as a backup if you have to use supercharger other than a Tesla one. They provide an attractive and perfectly sized carrying case (few other do based on what I searched). I highly recommend it.

Came as discribed but only good for level 2, not fast charging.Need the chadmo one for most applications now.
