I had a sweeper that broke but I really liked the cord because it was 18 ft long. And this end worked perfect. I like how tight it fits around the cord, because you can really get the screws tight on this one.

I buy these because I often get stray electric cord, and these allow me to make the straight cord into extension cord.

I realize it's all imported, but I still trust the Leviton brand. This is a good quality 2 prong cord repair end for my low current draw compact vacuum cord.

While you do need to strip back the conductors, I found connecting the wires to the terminals fairly simple, and the single-screw closing the clamshell was adequate even though I added the plug to a fat round electric cord. I'd buy this again.

Works as expected. The way the cord is clamped down is not the most secure. So when you go to unplug it, just don't yank on the cord, pull from the end.

Used this to add extension cable in cabinet. Feed wire and used plug. Simple and easy.

Used to switch 120v table lamp to 12v.Attached to 12v lighter plug. Swapped out light bulb to 12v. Plugged into 12v outlet of solar generator.
