very easy install, the only more complex install is 2 sensors working in tandem in a single 3 way circuit. This is one of the few sensors that can actually do that without getting into home automation. And personally I love that.If that’s the set up you would like, the only thing you need to do, assuming you have a neutral, is figure out which which of your wires are line and load and also which traveler matches up to the other. This is very easy to do with a non-contact tester. The button is high quality, though there’s a loud click when it turns on. It’s a bit expensive but that’s what these switches go for, especially the Leviton quality. They look nice and feel nice as well. Now, this would be the perfect switch if it had a dimmer attached to it. I want to use as little home automation as possible, and a dimmer for this would’ve been very nice. Unfortunately I cannot find a non-smart occupancy sensor switch that can dim and truly sense from 2 locations. That’s the only thing missing from this switch: dimming functionality. But still, 5 stars because it never promised dimming. It works perfectly and my entryway now has lights if I come in from either the garage with full hands or the front door with full hands. Love it.Leviton please make a dimming switch like this!

Bought this to automate turning on a small space heater when a person enters the room. Works well and has adjustable settings (like motion sensitivity, ambient light sensing, etc.) like other good motion sensors. But this one has a larger current capacity to handle the current required for a small space heater.Any reasonably handy person can install this and set it up. The only shortcoming was the instructions which only had black and white sketches of the wiring that didn't refer to actual wire colors coming from the back of the switch. So I had to match the wire with its position on the switch to know which is which. Minor issue, but an obvious miss since even black and white instructions could include textual descriptions next to each wire shown like "Green - ground", "White - neutral", etc. Or the wires themselves could be labeled.

Purchased two of the Leviton DOS15-1LZ Decora Occupancy Motion Sensor In-Wall Switches for a multi-sensor setup for the stairs. The installation is straight forward. The sensor switches work as they should. The only complaint I have is that there is no adjustment for the sensing area coverage. I have implemented a workaround by putting masking tape over the sensor area to block off the area where I don't want the sensors to get triggered. So people who walk by the hallway will not trigger the stair sensor to turn on the light. It depends on the location of your light switch; this may not be an issue for you.

I decided to put this in my stairwell going into the basement because if I come in the house from the garage I have to get to the top of the stairs to turn on the lights, so this made a lot more sense to have and I can come up the stairs with stuff in my hands and not have to worry about being in the dark or trying to find a light switch. It's slightly complicated to set up the unit initially, but after you get it how you like it, it works just like you expect.

Was easy to install and not to complicated to program once I read the instructions carefully. Was done in less than 30 minutes.

Tried the cheap Chinese knock off and could not get it to function. Returned those and ordered these. Easy to understand wiring diagrams for multiple scenarios. Out of the box to installed in under 15 min. Definitely worth the cost

I installed these in several locations to automatically turn on bathroom fans. You can easily set to have run for 1, 5 or more minutes before automatically turning off. Prevents marital discord over unfortunate odors. Highly recommend!

I use this product in my garage and it worked great over the summer. I was worried that the infra-red sensor would not work well in a hot garage but this switch has worked great.
