Used for disconnect (3 of them) on a tankless water heater. That had (3) 40-amp 220 VAC supplies. Worked perfect. Passed electrical inspection.

This works pretty good. I bought the Leviton housing that pairs with it.Next time I’m going to try using a 4x4 handy box to see if that will work to mount the switch indoors. But since I wanted to get my project done and not risk it with a standard 4x4 handy box from the hardware store, I order this switch along with the matched housing all at the same time.But next time I’ll save costs and try using a handy box from the hardware store.I put this on a 5hp 60 gallon air compressor and I think it will extend the life of the plastic pressure switch since I won’t be toggling it on and off with that pressure switch which looks a bit flimsy.Be sure and use crimp on ring terminals to attach the electrical wires if they are heavier stranded copper 8ga or 6ga.The proper ring terminals are hard to find at hardware store. You’ll have to do some searching.

Exactly as described, cheaper than most stores. Perfect replacement for an old failed 30amp unit on a commercial 5hp pressure washer.
