I am so bummed. I absolutely loved sitting in my blanket even though it isn’t insulated the best and would leave red lines on my legs, but today it malfunctioned and got excessively hot and started to melt and smoke. I had to quickly unplug it and run it out of the house. Now I am without my sauna blanket which sucks because I will attest to it being very relaxing and comforting and helped my arthritis.I am editing my review and upgrading the score. I contacted the company and they are making things right. They stand behind their products and I go to lifepro to find products that help with self care. I have recommended them to friends and I will continue to do so.

I already have another mini sauna that I can sit inside, but since I get sleepy sitting for so long, I decided to buy the sauna blanket instead.I’ve used it three times. The first two times I didn’t really sweat even though I had the temperature at the highest setting. The third time I stayed in for 60 minutes and kept my hands inside, and I finally got a good result.I would say it is necessary to wear thicker socks and long sleeves and sweat pants because the direct skin contact with heat is intense. I also put a towel underneath me to absorb sweat. But it’s nice to be able to lie down, listen to restful music, and enjoy the experience, then take a cold shower.Afterwards my body feels very calm, and I do notice that my body recovers faster from small injuries. (I’ve been using another mini sauna prior to getting the blanket but I see the effect is the same.) My husband runs marathons and loves the sauna benefits for faster recovery as well.I’m not sure how long the plastic odor lasts, but hopefully that dissipates over time.I like that it heats up quickly, it’s easy to use, and it has adjustable heat and time settings, and that makes a little sound when finished.I really like how it’s easy to clean, and then takes up so little space.By the way, if you live in a cold climate, you would love coming in from the cold and climbing into this super heated sauna blanket, especially if you feel cold to the bone! I bought one for my sister as a Christmas present because of that.Thank you for making a quality product!

Easy to clean and wipe down after every use. Heats up pretty quick. Once session is done, it beeps to alert you.

Best $$ I’ve spent this year. Worth it, just buy it. Significant improvement in day-to-day well being on multiple levels (ex. muscle tension/stiffness, circulation/cold extremities, mood +++). Especially great when stuck inside during cold weather months. Wish I bought it sooner! The only negative I could say is the stinky smell, but I’m hopeful that will improve with use (I’ve only been using for 1.5wks).

I love this so much. I got it cheaper in the sales so extra bonus. I've been toying with idea of buying one of these for a while but finances said no. But getting it a wee bit cheaper helped a lot. When I use it I read. I get a fantastic night's sleep and my aching legs and arms don't ache as much. Easy to clean. A wipe down after every use and easy to store (at the bottom of my wardrobe) highly recommend this product

It was easy to set up and was very hot within 5 minutes. Easy to clean, fold and store. All in all I'm very happy with this item.
