It is what it is. It does it’s job. It does it is fine for any number of applications. I tried using it for a security cam l. I have more issues with the security camera than this item . The flexible part is only about 2 1/2 inches. Good enough for most applications. I am buying another. It’s good if you need one.

Hvac company put tubing too close to light sockets (temporarily) not allowing a large bulb to be used. This worked perfectly by lowering the bulb past the tubing.

I opted for this one as I was looking for something with a long cable and has a dedicated hang loop.While it does feel cheap and plasticky, it should hold up as it’s not something that gets handled much.My one caveat is the location of the switch. Unlike most other comparable product where the switch is in-line, this one the switch is separate. This may have been a pro if only the wire for the switch is longer. It’s extremely short so it’s inconvenient - as most home outlets are installed quite low and out of reach without bending down.

Worked perfectly to install fans in can lights in our attic apartment. The length was ideal to bring the ceiling fan bulbs down to ceiling level.

I had an old fixture inside a doorway and light did not extend outside the door. I installed this extension and extended the light bulb below the door top and now it casts light outside the door when on.

These came in a 2 pack and one broke as soon as I screwed a light bulb into it. The second one I was much more delicate and careful, and it does hold and the extension is great, but the gooseneck doesn't do anything. As soon as it's adjusted at a barely there angle it eventually sags back down straight. If I wanted that I would have just bought a solid extension instead of the gooseneck. I was hoping to be able to angle the lighting a bit side to side depending on where I was standing at the workbench, but nope down straight or saggy.

I bought this extender to be used in an upright position with this fan which weights 1.2 lbs.It would not hold the fan straight and constantly bent in 1/2 due to the weight.
