This light is the great for a night light which is what my daughter wanted it for. The light changes colors by tapping the bottom of the cupcake. The picture I posted is of the light on blue. This is the first night we have had the lamp, but my daughter loves it and is so excited to change the color tomorrow night. The light is just the right brightness for a night light. It also looks very cute. The size is prefect for her shelf, looks just like I imagined it looking when deciding where to place it in my daughters room.

This light does exactly what we were hoping. It's a bright light that provides good visibility at night for our toddlers room. I can be too bright if close to the bed so we keep it in the far corner of the room.

My daughter loves this nightlight. She brings it to bed with her it can be plugged in but doesn’t have to be. She loves that she can hit cakey and the colors change perfectly. The top is squishy and the bottoms hard but it sits right next to her. This was exactly as I expected.

While it does say auto on/off, I figured there would be an on/off switch, but that is not the case. It does work automatically by sensing light and dark, but I don't necessarily want it "always on" in a dark room due to power concerns and not wanting to kill the actual lights inside (I don't know if they're replaceable). Beyond that, it's not very bright. It's adorable as a novelty item, but doesn't really provide much light.
