Despite being open-box or refurb, you won't know compared to new that this device is any different. Works as it's supposed to and even feels snappier (I'm upgrading from a first generation Cube to this. While it's plainly explained in the product description, don't forget to upgrade to a high-speed HDMI cable as you might get confused with flickering when using this version of the Fire Cube and it's because it doesn't support older generations of HDMI cables. Otherwise, I'm enjoying to increased menu speed and solid display of 4K streaming (if your show or movie plays in that format). Worth every cent for this version. Recommended.

This is replacing my 2016 4k Fire TV. This 3rd gen Fire TV Cube has been great so far, no issues. The interface and actions are fast, and the wireless internet connection has been strong, stable, and fast. My only complaint is the remote. It’s too small and quite uncomfortable to hold, it has no backlight, and the circular nav button still sucks. I don’t get why Amazon hasn’t designed some sort of better, more ergonomic and comfortable-to-hold remotes for FireTV yet. As for buying the “like-new†condition version? No regrets. Big savings. Everything from the packaging to the condition of the cube and remote look new to me. Overall, I’m happy with the purchase.

The cube is supposed to have the fastest processor, but I don't notice the difference. Menus are just as quick with either device. Love the built-in ethernet port. That does help with streaming compared to most wi-fi connections and I don't need a dongle. Bought this refurbished and it looks and operates like new. No setup issues at all and all functions are normal. 4k movies look great streaming locally using my Plex home server and content from Amazon Video has no issues or artifacts.

I got this to replace an old Firestick for my theater room. I connected it through my Sony receiver to a Epson HD projector mounted in my ceiling. It works great. I added a RF extender to use my remote through my built-in cabinet with the door closed. That works great. The setup was easy, my old stick was identified and all apps transferred to the cube seamlessly. Connection was easy and everything works great. I bought a refurbished model and everything was packaged like it was brand new. Substantial savings over a new unit. I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

I'm really happy with this decision. No need to frequently restart or checking internet speed. Everything just work. I burley use the speech to activate as it will never find what I want, but the remote works great. I purchased the refurbished device and I don't think it works worse than a new one.

This item was sold by Amazon that came in dirty, not working at all and to work with Amazon team to send the item back was the worse experience I've ever had since I've been a prime member.They received the defective item back and I have still not received my refund yet and it's been 30+ days already!This is insane!

Bought it open box works great, basically makes my slow smart tv into a fast smart tv, hooked up my jbl speaker with mic for karaoke and was able to youtube our fav karaoke songs and play straight thru bluetooth no prob, i have an lg tv if that helps and it was super slow so got this and it fixed the issue
