Product Description

A unique barrel dampener, the LimbSaver Sharpshooter X-Ring helps to improve your accuracy while also dampening barrel whip. It's available in two options -- one for standard barrels and one for bull barrels. The Sharpshooter X-Ring delivers sub minute-of-angle groups, even with over the counter ammunition. Made from LimbSaver's proprietary NAVCOM technology (Noise and Vibration Control Material), the Sharpshooter X-Ring tunes the vibration waves that affect shot grouping. Each of these individual waves negatively affects the barrel and the Sharpshooter X-Ring is specifically designed to control them. By reducing this energy and tuning the dampening characteristics to a specific location on the barrel, you can consistently control muzzle movement during lock-up time, which translates to greater accuracy. Used by a wide range of sportsmen, competition shooters, military, and law enforcement, the Sharpshooter X-Ring is durably built to be used outdoors in harsh environments.

The standard size model fits barrels with 1/2- to 7/8-inch diameters, and the bull barrel size model fits barrels with 3/4- to 1-1/8-inch diameters. The bull barrel model also works on scoped slug shotguns.

Using state-of-the-art technologies, LimbSaver produces highly effective noise- and vibration-dampening products for archery and firearm products, including bow stabilizers, recoil pads, rifle slings, and more. Proudly engineered and hand-made in the USA, LimbSaver products are widely used by outdoor enthusiasts, military, law enforcement, and more.

Using on a Weatherby Vanguard SSR .30-06 Springfield. It's a tight squeeze to get on even with lube, looks goofy and will certainly get you a question on what it is. It does work well though. This target is 2 shots from myself and two from a buddy. 3 shots are Hornady whitetail 150gr, one shot was with a Hornady Superformance 180gr.Bought one for my cousin to use on his Savage Axis .308 but haven't had a chance to use it yet.

Transformed and old 270 from a 2.5 MOA rifle into a 0.5 MOA rifle. Transformed a 1.5 MOA 223 rifle into the same 1.5 MOA rifle it started as. When they work, it’s magic. When they don’t, well at least the product is affordable. Worth taking a chance.

The dampener helps improve on accuracy. Cuts barrel whip down. Once it's in place. It stays put.

Instead of paying a lot of money on barrel tuners which have their place for certain applications, give this a try. There is a fast and easy way to fine your perfect location:Start with groups close to end of barrel, middle and right up against the stock. Check the groups because one if going to be better. Divide up the difference between the middle and the end that showed the best groups. If it's the middle to start, move a bit fore and aft of the middle, checking groups. In short order you will find the sweet spot. There is no magic here, it's science. The biggest improvement is that flyers go away. Flyers are what destroys group size enough that people make up excuses for them. Tune them right out with this.Once in a while you come across something that just works but doesn't cost a lot. This is one of those things. Buy an extra just because you never know and when your friends ask why your groups are so much better, hand them a limb saver and show them how to use it. They will be amazed.

My deer rifle was ringing like a tuning fork every time I shot. After ensuring the barrel was firmly bedded to the stock and still experiencing the issue, I turned to my experience with LimbSaver's products from my archery obsession (I have LimbSaver vibration dampeners on my bowstrings, cables, limbs, etc.).While it looks a little funny attached to the end of the barrel, it completely eliminated the sound and vibration I was experiencing.

I don’t have a full bull barrel, but it is a heavy factory taper on a TC Pro Hunter and it fits very well. I haven’t used it yet to know how it functions.

J'ai commandé un large qui correspond pour Les canons de 7/8 et plus mon canon à 7/8 et c'est trop grand j'ai dû ajouter des bouts de chambre à air de velo pour avoir le bon diamètre,
