Works fine, wet or dry. However; the airflow adjustment lever is directly in the way of your fingers, under the grip handle. Constantly touching it and moving it accidentally. Have to keep stopping to readjust. As well, the lever has a hairline adjustment, so the slightest bump and it needs readjusted. Problem is worse when wet sanding as you can imagine. To solve this, I had to add a 3 foot whip hose with an in-line air regulator. Cost additional 36$. Could not add the regulator without the whip hose because the regulator was hitting the items being sanded. Needed to move it 3 feet down line. Overall, I would just look for another brand and avoid this one. Too late for me to return to Amazon now.

Worked great and was my fav until it hit the 10 month mark. After 10 months of owning it with light use it stopped working. Not sure I would buy this again. Initially bought it because Pharraway the painter on YouTube recommended it. However, I guess you get what you pay for in the end.

Was purchased from cartel. Assembled air connector... used maybe 10 min. Air line where goes into sander came apart, internals went flying. Managed to find plastic switch and alter and fab a new spring to go in it. Works ok now, air does still bleed through sander. Just don't think quality is worth the money.
