Has a good look and feel, and it does almost everything that I purchased it to do. I hooked up an Ext. BluRay Disc drive using the USB 3.1 and the USB 2.0 ports. I attached a generic USB A Hub to the second USB 2.0 port and inserted an SD card in there the larger card slot. The USB-C input cable conn acts to one of the iMac USB-C ports. Performance is excellent and I am able to access all of the files on the SD Card. One slight disappointment was my inability to connect my older but great sounding Harmon Kardon Speakers/Sub-Woofer via the 3mm plug to the end of this unit. The iMac appeared to recognize it, but I was unable to select the correct speakers from System Settings...Instead, I used a USB-C to 3mm Audio adapter, and the iMac had no trouble recognizing the Sub-woofer and satellite speakers. I took off a Star for that. Other than that...It looks good, it works very well (except for the 3mm input) and I feel that it's worth the money I spent.

I bought this mainly because I realized with my new PC tower (Phanteks Enthoo 719), I couldn't put my old USB SD card reader into the slot as it was too wide. Realizing I have both a front and rear type-C connector, and having watched Bitwit show this product off, I decided to grab it.Now I can't speak on the functionality of the HDMI and USB ports as I haven't tried them, but for SD and micro SD cards, this thing has worked flawlessly. Data transfer is what I expected and it has recognized each card without issue.This thing is also exceptionally solid. I mean, it's relatively heavy, which surprised me. I was used to the really light feel of the previous reader, but this thing feels very solid, so I'm not worried about it breaking out of nowhere.

Worked great initially on my Surface Pro 7+. Charged it via USB C and could handle a second monitor easily, as well as a USB A dongle for a mouse. Charging via USB C failed within 90 days, however, but it does continue to function as a hub. Pretty bummed, as this hit all the high points I was looking for, including HDMI and DisplayPort connections.

I purchased the docking station as like all Mac users I've been downgraded by Apple to having ridiculously few ports on my laptop. Thanks Apple! I have used a lot of different models and like this one a lot. Note: if you plan to take advantage of the second HDMI connection it will only mirror the first signal (ie you cannot run two separate monitors. I do not have a Thunderbolt connection capable monitor so I cannot verify if you could use one of the other ports to accomplish a two monitor condition. What I will say is that most of the other multiport docking stations I've used tended to heat up under normal use. This model stays only slightly warm to the touch even after a full days use.Useful tip: It is my understanding that the speed of any USB dock system is determined by the slowest item connected to it. For example if you connect something to the slower USB 2 connections you will effectively limit the speed of the faster USB 3 and USB-C connections. Good to know if you plan to move large files through this device.

It is a very good product and works perfectly fine with new MacBook Pro M1 and my old Dell monitor. No issues at all. It would be better if the device has a USB C slot.

A good quality usb c adaptor and its made of aluminum. Everything works fine so far, the price seems a little high than I expect, but I guess I pay for what I get.
