Handy tools to have, makes easy work of pulling and working on fuse boxes that are getting smaller and getting harder to get to.

I've only used the larger of these on a fuse that kept getting hot to the point melting and failing, even though the fuse never blew from over current. This cleaned up the contacts for the wiper motor fuse on my RV and it's been working great since.

The cleaner end is good.I tried to use the puller end on cheap fuses that did not have too much texture, and it failed miserably.

I was worried about spreading the terminals out to far on my fuse box, but I went ahead and did entire box on my truck after it being laid up for several months in the weather, no issues at all but I might take a file and shave off .005 - .007" before using it on someone else's vehicle tho

While in mostly dry and sunny Western Australia I don't often come across corroded fuse sockets these are handy for the few I do see (usually 4WD's that spend a lot of time near the ocean).

What do you expect from made in china junk? Lisles other tools that are made in USA are always amazing, but I didn’t know this is made in china and it really shows in the quality of the product. This is a product that’s supposed to be used for corroded fuse terminals, right? So then by that logic it should be strong enough to handle corroded fuses. It does NOT. The ends that are supposed to be fuse pullers do not work at all for stuck fuses, went and got the smallest needle nose I had, and they pulled the fuses out no problem. Ok, so what about the diamond cleaning tip part? Well, it’s not as good as I was hoping it would be. I was replacing a corrodes fuse box on a customer car with a used on, so I wanted to clean out each and every fuse with this tool. It was hell. The used one wasn’t by any means corroded, i just wanted to ensure a clean connection in every fuse for peace of mind, that’s why I chose to clean each fuse with the diamond file end. It is extremely hard to get the file end into the fuse slot and if I’m being honest it feels like the tool itself is on the borderline of breaking every time I use it for it’s intended purpose. I think I’m just going to buy actual micro tipped files that I can hold with a handle and go in and out in a filing motion the way you normally file stuff. These are a novelty it seems, they MAY get you out of an energy situation but I wouldn’t recommend this tool for restoration projects or daily use.
