Just unpacked these lockout hasps and first impressions are really promising. The engineering plastic feels incredibly sturdy - definitely not your typical plastic that would crack under pressure. Got two bright red hasps in the package, and the color is very visible, perfect for safety equipment. The steel shackle part looks well-constructed with clean welds and smooth edges. One minor note - the plastic coating on the handle could be a bit thicker. Really impressed with how smoothly the jaw mechanism operates, and that 1-inch diameter opening should work perfectly for most applications. Each hasp has six holes for multiple locks, and they're nicely reinforced. The non-conductive handle design seems well thought out for electrical safety.

These are seriously well-made hasps. Each one feels like it could last for years of regular use. The nylon handle is clearly high quality and can take impacts without cracking. The steel parts are properly finished with no sharp edges. What I particularly like is how securely they clamp down - there's absolutely no wiggle room once they're locked. Having six lock holes means our entire team can safely work on equipment maintenance together. The bright red color is perfect for visibility.
