Yes, the kit works. But, the original kit only lasted a year. I only used the grease gun 5 times in the year. So, it seems this will need to be replaced quite often.

I run an equipment rental yard and these are the only grease couplers I will run and it's amazing that you can just rebuild the tip when you need to.

Definitely buy this kit, don’t re-purchase the entire coupler. Way cheaper and works quite well. Easy to rebuild!
