Unlike many other products, the photos on the product page exactly match this box. The dimensions, the way it operates, the thickness of the steel, even the latch. I was a bit surprised how big and study the latch is. I was expecting something on the order of a latch on a lunchbox.It is made to be a LOTO box, but I got it as a battery charge box. LiPo batteries can ignite while being charged. It is highly unlikely if done correctly. But I didn't want to risk it. The charge bags are useless and I have been using a standard ammo can. I have to leave it cracked open so the cords can come out. This looked like a better option. It worked out really well. The cables can be fed though the existing holes and the top can be latched down.The label on the side isn't so good. The case is powder coated and has almost a wrinkle texture. The sticker was already coming off and was really easy to remove. Worked out good for my application, but if you wanted to use it for its intended purpose, it's something to be aware of.Even with the label problem, this case is great. I would still rate it five stars if I was going to use it as a LOTO box.

This group lock box is sturdy, and it seems to be a good one. The only problem is the label, which was coming off when the box arrived. That's not a huge deal, but when used for its intended purpose, a label should be there. Even in the product listing, you can see that the label is coming off. If I were to hazard a guess, I would say the side of the box wasn't cleaned before the sticker was put on. Whatever the reason, it's something to consider when deciding on a group lock box. Other than that, the box is a good one and it works well.

I use this for mainly storage, I ripped the sticker off, and I like the material it's made of. The holes are for lockout locks, I still need to make use of them. It's an ammo can with holes and a different material.

I use this box to keep things I dont want my children to have inside of. It has a hole where you can put a hefty lock, however for security purposes a good whack with a 20oz hammer would probably take the latch mechanism right off so i would not use this lock box where the public would have access or keep anything truly valuable inside of it. but that would only be if it were bolted down because really someone could just pick the whole thing up and walk off with it if it were not bolted down.

I do a lot of electrical and mechanical work that requires the use of a lock box to protect workers from exposure to energized equipment. This box is well made and sturdy. I expect that it will serve me well for many years to come. It is almost identical to the boxes from brady, master, and other "name brands". Highly recomment for anyone in an industrial environment that needs to protect their workers.

THe box is a good size for keeping small items safe. The hinge lock did not lie flat after initial release. No way to get any type of lock through the mechanism.

I'm not sure what this is supposed to be used for but I got it to use as a "treasure box" for an escape room activity in my 5th grade classroom. The kids all worked math problems to find clues that led them to combinations of several locks. They had to work together to get about six different locks open so they could get to the "treasure" inside of the box. This time it was candy. The clear view windows were nice because they could see what the payoff was going to be so they were more motivated to continue the task.I can't say if it will be as useful for it's intended usage, but for this it was top notch!

Nice lockout box to store your lock out tags in one place. Box easily stores 2 dozen Lockout locks ( depending if you use the 2.5 inch or the smaller 1inch locks) within the actual box and lock on an additional 12 locks on the outskirts of the box.Box has a fair thickness which can handle the weight of multiple locks while not being excessively thick that it would add unnecessary weight.Handle is easy to grip for carrying/transport purposes.Latch system closes the box securely.Paint is vibrant and easy to identify ( note it can scratch off if you do impale or bang it into metal objects so beware)

The quality is great, itรขโฌโขs built sturdy.Good secure box to carry important items on a job site.However it not the most secure if left unattended as Itรขโฌโขs not an extremely heavy box, which makes it fairly easy to walk with.I found it to be useful in my home in securing my collector coins, Iรขโฌโขm able to lock them away without my children having access to them.The box has an industrial look and feel. Itรขโฌโขs robust enough to be placed in my storage without me being to concerned about it protecting the contents.

This box would be excellent for ensuring no one accidentally turns on electricity or machinery while someone is performing repairs or maintenance! Would be great for industry, farming, or commercial applications!I am using the box as a place to charge batteries. I donรขโฌโขt always feel comfortable charging lithium ion batteries while I am not able to closely monitor the process or over-night while my family is sleeping. I heard about about the possibly of fire or battery rupture while charging. I feel much more comfortable having the charger and batteries in a metal box such as this.The box has 1/2 inch holes that allow cables and cords to pass through, and my charger sits comfortably in the bottom. The box is made of thick gauge metal very similar to an ammo box! Works well.

this is a well made lock box.i have a bunch of locks and now i can lock up my surgery treats so i donรขโฌโขt scarf them down in one go like i usually do. sugar is a new concept to me. we never had much candy around the house. iรขโฌโขm kinda grateful for that now that i get sugar urges. sometimes i get up and sleep eat chocolate bars. ha! not anymore.sugar is a nice treat but i have eating way to much due to stress. something else thatรขโฌโขs new to me. stress eating.so i love this lock box. itรขโฌโขs something i really need.honestly you could use this for lots of different things, including a piggy bank since thereรขโฌโขs a coin slot !
