The Loc-Line vacuum hose component is two 12" length hose segments (18 elements total) made of blue acetal copolymer plastic and has a 2-1/2" inner diameter for use with Loc-Line vacuum hose or fittings. The acetal copolymer plastic resists corrosion and moisture. The component has a maximum operating temperature of 170 degrees F. It complies with Registration, Evaluation, Authorization of Chemicals (REACH) and Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances (RoHS) standards. The component connects to other Loc-Line components by a ball-and-socket design that snaps together for a tight seal.
Lockwood Products manufactures the Loc-Line modular hose system of low-pressure hose and couplings used for coolant, air delivery, smoke and dust removal, and other applications. The company, founded in 1981, is headquartered in Lake Oswego, OR.

We used this tubing to tie into a vacuum system to remove exhaust fumes in a room. The flexibility of this tubing makes it adaptable to multiple configurations. I wish the clamp supplies to this hose to connect to the vacuum had two flanges instead of one -- two flanges, one on each side would provide increase strength and stability. Like the system, very well thought out.

This is a useful, well-made item. I'd give it 5 stars if there was an adaptor provided to connect it to standard 4 inch vacuum hose. Good product, but hard to actually use if you're using a dust collection system rather than a shop vac.

By putting the shopvac nozzle where the sawdust is being made, cleanup is much easier.The only reason I didn't give it 5-stars is because if you use more than 2' of the hose, it has a hard time keeping the nozzle where you want it. It falls down under its own weight. Some creative jiggering gets the job done, but I wish they could make the slip-fit a little tighter - without making it impossible to assemble.

Although the line can be a little hard to use, it works great for dust collection and fume extraction. Unlimited configurations (within reason) make this a versatile component to for my welding station.

Perfect articulating hose. Holds its shape when adjusted but easy enough to move for precise placement. Beware the blue hose is NOT anti-static. I would have bought the black one but they were out. Instead, I sandwiched one blue hose between two black hoses.
