My daughter is 17 and for the past year, when weather is good, she goes to the nursing home across the street and draws a new picture for the residents at their front doors. They even have a suggestion box inside and she draws one out and attempts their suggestions. She often practices at home first and I have seen the quality of the chalk firsthand. She just got another box as a gift for her birthday and was over the moonLD chalk is bright and vibrant, smooth, blends beautifully and lasts a lot longer than the storebought ones. My daughter is saving for black and white box next because the black is SO vibrant and makes her murals pop. It even washes off well and no intense scrubbing is needed.My advice, if you are debating on purchasing, just do it! It is well worth every penny!

Better than crayola and does not fade as easy. This chalk is more vibrant and beautiful. In the open basket you can see crayola chalk and how faded it got. And how bright this chalk is. And the art is did I did mix both so I can replace all my future work with this brand. No more crayola unless gifted or something. Loddie Doddie.

A few sticks were broken, but it’s chalk and they still work. I was concerned about the white being sandwiched between the black, but I was pleased to find the white pieces were wrapped separately so there was no mixing of colors!

The chalk is really smooth and has a good variety of colors, I just wish it came with more black. Other than that it’s a great deal.

Absolutely LOVE how true the color is compared to the other "blacks" that I have. I haven't opened the white yet to try those ones, they come wrapped in plastic and none are broken, the black came with all but 3 of them broken :( but that's not the company's fault so still 5 stars and I will still be using them and will be buying again as I need them!!

We bought this chalk for a chalk art competition. When my daughter went to use it, it was very soft and the quality did not hold up for it to be useful on high-quality projects. It might be ok for play on the driveway, but not other things.
