Very nice, price is up there but in the end I'm happy with my purchase and decision to not go for the cheap $20 dipsticks. I used this for my 91 firebird 305 tbi, I was in the process of removing the stock manifolds and broke my oil diptick that was rust welded to the header bolt. I opened up the hole as much as I could for mounting to Hooker headers 2460HKR and using arp 5/16 head 3/8-18 ss header bolts to clear the tubes. Really great fit could be 4"-6" longer after the mounting bracket but it works just fine looks great to, will definitely buy Lokar again if and when a the time comes.

swapped out convaluded oil dip stick on a gen 1 SBC 350. works great even with long tube patriot headers, functional, accurate, and looks great. Worth every dime.

Great item but product details are incorrect. This does not fit pre 1980 applications as listed. I called lokar today and correct item is ed5002. Will be returning reordering correct item. Hopefully amazon will cover return shipping due to incorrectly describing it.

I bent the heck out of my dipstick installing my Tri-y headers on my 94 Caprice. This served as a nice replacement. Was easy to install.

I came across this part after installing headers on my vehicle and realizing that the stock oil tube part wouldn't fit anymore.The shipping was fast and the fitment is great (unlike the headers 😒)Will definitely recommend to friends

Lokar says this fits a SBC Chevy, yes it might, but a V6 SBC chevy - no way! I had to machine about .020 off the tube to even get it to go in the 'hole' , and then it was to close to the block to fit the top section, so I had to machine that down to almost round to be able to tighten it up. It's a nice product, but universal SBC, no way. A 10 minute install took 3 hours with al the machine work I had to do. It looks good, but i hope i never have to remove it !
