Your cart is empty.Lokar Hi-Tech Firewall Mount Transmission Dipstick for GM 200-4R Transmission gives you more flexibility with a Teflon-lined Flexible Braided Stainless Transmission Dipstick. The kit comes complete with a braided stainless outer housing and heat resistant E-Z to read flexible inner dipstick measuring cable. The inner cable is molded with appropriate trans fluid levels. The billet aluminum handle and billet aluminum fittings complement Lokar's Flexible Engine Dipsticks. The kit includes a dipstick funnel adapter to assist in filling. It has been designed for "push in" style transmissions. The dipstick seals with double O-rings. The applications are available for GM, Ford and Chrysler in both firewall mount and transmount. The firewall mount measures 24 inch in length. The transmount mounts to the bell housing and the length varies according to the transmission application. The kit comes complete with installation instructions.

You know I have to give this 5 stars. It is so nicely done and you can mount it almost anywhere even in full view it looks so good. But.. Filling or topping off the transmission thru this tiny hole is almost insane. Fortunately, the vehicles this will most likely be used in will be so perfect that it will only be used once to fill and only as a dip stick after that. If you think you may have to use it more often for checking and filling, then be sure to mount this in a place that has easy access, a place that you can hold the container you are pouring from for a long time, or be able to start and stop pouring without spilling. Be sure to keep the funnel system that fits it, with the vehicle.

The dipstick is not the correct length, the oil level is marked incorrectly, you will overfill your transmission which usually causes the trans to fail. I called Lokar, they were not helpful

Very nice, great workmanship and fit. The only thing I would love to see improved is the ability to see the trans fluid better.
