This is the first time I've used markers like these. They're bigger than any other I've used. They tend to slip out of my work as I'm crocheting amigurumi. Maybe they'll work better for conventional crochet stitch work. Maybe I need to get used to them, but not what I expected. I rated 5 because these are exactly as advertised, arrived a day early, and I like the little case they came in.

I absolutely love the stitch markers! Much more sturdy than the previous ones I was using! The safety pin type broke so easily that I wanted to change to this! I will never go back to the other type of stitch markers when I crochet. Super sturdy and the company that shipped it did so very quickly! I will definitely use this vendor again!

I do a lot of crocheting and some knitting and had been using those ubiquitous plastic ‘safety pins’ for stitch markers/place holders. The biggest drawbacks to those are that they don’t work so well for thick or bulky yarns, and they interrupt my ‘flow’ if I have to unlock them often. These 🌀 plastic markers are an excellent alternative and, for me, work better. They easily slide in and out of bulky yarns without snagging or pulling, with no wrestling to get them locked or unlocked. I also like how easy they are to mark places in an already stitched row, for example where I will later attach a leg or arm on a stuffed animal, without pulling or twisting the stitches; this makes them great for repositioning if I decide to adjust the attachment points later. I can now work faster since I don’t have to fidget with my stitch markers as much - easy glide into and out of the yarn. One obvious disadvantage is that these do not lock, so they can come out of place as easily as they went in. I’ve found that making sure to rotate them fully so the ‘hook’ end is snugged up next to the stitch works, although if you tend to move your work around roughly or toss it into a working bag or basket, the marker can fall out. They also sometimes snag on the next stitch if you’re not careful about how you’re twisting them out of the marked stitch. So these work great for me, and I find them less aggravating than the safety pins, but they won’t work for everyone.

These are so easy to use! I love the various size and color options. They are so simple to slip in and keep working on your project. Overall, great value for the money.

Literally. There were complaints of burrs on the markers but the manufacturer must have done something to remove them. There are two sizes which is nice to distinguish what part of the pattern I’m working. I love that they slip on and off easily. A few times I knocked them off but truly it is because I didn’t put them on all the way. Very happy with this product.

I got this for crochet because I like the smaller, rounded style over the traditional clip style markers. If the stitch is a bit looser, the marker doesn’t hold as well when it’s just through the top loops, so what I do is wrap them around the post of the stitch and that works best for me

There is a burr on each and every one of the markers from where it was detached off of the larger piece from the assembly line. I understand that it obviously has to be attached, but it should not be my responsibility to file it down. if you don't file it down, it snags the yarn when you put it in the stitch or when you take it out. What's worse than losing count of your stitches? A big pull in your work so it looks like crap. Come on, how lazy can you get??? Also, often they fall out, even the small ones
