Like the bright colors, makes it easy to find. So far I have used it on some small and one inch dead branches for my fire pit and it worked great. I like that it came with a cover for the cutting head.

There's an evergreen tree that's seems to be dying from the bottom up and overhanging my deck. Landlord didn't keep his word to trim the tree so I searched and found this. Aside from being easy to use (even with my broken wrist) it extends to 41". I am so happy with my new trimmer and highly recommend it.

Upon receiving this item, I immediately put it to use in clearing some ground shrubs with branches up to 2-inches in diameter. However, after only cutting a few branches, with the handle fully extended the tool broke as shown in the photograph. I think it broke due to a design flaw and/or manufacturing/material failure. Needless to say, the tool was rendered useless and I returned it for a full refund. Following this, I ordered a Fiskar lopper because I've had experience with the smaller sizes of this brand of tools, with success and without any failure of the handles.
