Not sure on how long the battery lasts but so far so good. There is a light on the back to help with readability in the dark! The alarm is loud (I set mine across the room so I have to get up to turn it off) and it looks nice/is a good size. Durable and worth the money.

This is a very good clock. VERY STURDY! Bless its poor mechanical heart, it has been accidentally knocked off onto the floor numerous times. I like that the hands have a glow in the dark dot. I like there is a button on the back to see what time it is in the dark. It does me no good when I argue with my cat that 3 am is in fact not breakfast time but I do enjoy the small victory of being right. The numbers are clear. The alarm is quite loud. It looks nice, very retro stylish look about it.The only minor downside to this clock is when the batteries get weak, the clock forsakes the alarm to keep time. And I am okay with that. Even if this clock's alarm fail me completely I would still love and keep this clock.I am glad I bought it.

Cute clock. Fast shipping. I wanted a simple alarm clock for my 76 yr old sister. This clock is perfect. Loud alarm, simple to set, and nice looking. Large numbers, easy to read.

This alarm is cute, loud, and pretty easy to set up with one double AA battery that you probably have on hand. It woke me up for school when Im notortious for sleeping in after working until the early hours of the morning. The moving hand is silent- so there is no empty ticking going off at all hours fo the day.However, some features could be improved. The backlight button does not stay on, and is only prompted when you're holding the button. So there is no way to turn it on for the entire night to view the time in the middle of the night. The hands of the clock do have two little "glow in the dark" buttons, however they are so light it is nearly impossible to get a good reading.There is also no AM/PM button for the alarm. Meaning if it is on it will go off twice a day. The only way to turn the alarm off is to switch the alarm button off. Therefore if you forget to reset it at night, it will not go off in the morning. There is also no snooze button- which can be good if you place it at a distance you have to get out of bed to turn off.Overall, this alarm clock has some quirks but does the job of getting you out of bed in the morning. It is most effective when paired with a smart phone or watch, for the reason that if you do wake up in the middle of the night you can check the time. For the price it is good, and it comes in a hanfdul of cute colors. I purchased the green option, which is a light sage.

So far this seems to be a great little clock. Small enough to not be obtrusive and large enough to read. The alarm seems to be loud enough, but have yet to try it.

My daughter wanted this classic style alarm clock sooo badly. So in July, it went on sale, and I bought it as a VERY early Christmas gift. Of course by the time Christmas came, the return window had closed. This never worked, right out of the box. Tried multiple batteries, in case that was the issue, but nope. The time never moved. We were able to hear the bell by manually moving the hands to the alarm time, and it is loud, exactly as described. The light also worked, but you have to hold it on which was surprising (no way to keep the light on without holding the button). To turn the alarm off, you have to put the switch in back to the off position. Not the easiest when you're trying to turn off a very loud alarm, but I believe that is the classic design, so nothing wrong with that if it's what you are looking for. I can't say I'm toooo disappointed that it doesn't work, as I never wanted a very loud alarm clock in the house anyway. But my daughter is!

This is the replacement for our original Big Ben, this one has a back light, and it is loud, which my husband needs to wake him up. So Far it is keeping time and no problems. He loves the black.

Der Wecker kam sehr spät an, denke aufgrund von Covid und Weihnachten. Farbe und Preis ok,wie beschrieben. Er ist tatsächlich laut und Licht funktioniert. Die Knöpfe sind dennoch sehr wackig, also vorsichtig beim Einstellen. Für unser Kind ausreichend. Danke
