Our son is just getting into drumming so buying a used set made sense to start us off. Unfortunately that means repairs are more likely. This part is identical to what was on his snare drum. Accurate measurements, easy to replace and works like a charm!

I needed a replacement on a cheap drum so I purchased the cheapest model I could find. Rivets wobble and it’s not a smooth thread but it does what it’s supposed to. Ideal for a low use snare or something you’re not going to tweak regularly.

Ordered on a whim for the 2-point screw pattern. I have a 1920s Leedy Elite that has been missing the throw-off since I got it. You try and scare up an original Speedway or Presto that fits, and is brass/gold. This one isn't, but I can live with that because it fits.This fit exactly with no modification to the shell.No, it's not a "great" piece. It is a little stiff, but for $10 I am hoping it will loosen up a bit over time. Has not detuned on me yet.I bought three - 2 for the drum closet in case one fails. Finding another drop-in for this drum at $10 might not come along that often.

It fit my Gammon snare drum. I did not have to drill any holes. With a good price, I could not pass this strainer. It works as good as I need it to.

The screws did not fit. They were too large. So if you have your own screws you’re OK. It’s like no one tried to put the screws through the hole to see if they would work.

The worst snare strainer I have used. Bought it 3 months ago, and the screws from the strainer all are slipping and because I have tried to adjust it a few times, the screws have stripped. Do not buy.

Well the hardware is good and made solidly. However the measurements of the bracket that mounts to the snare is not 50mm or mine wasn't for the matter. The one I recieved mearures 64mm from edge to edge. Sadly I wont'' be using it to replace the current one on my snare but the snare butt which is the piece I actually needed fits perfectly. It's measurements are 92mm if anyone happened to need that information since the sellers ad does not list this.
