Sealing surfaces are flat and true, the hardware is decent and with the correct thread pitch, and the surface finish is good. For less than $20 at the time of this review, I'd say it's a winner.

I used this adapter block to connect lines to a remote oil cooler with a puller fan to help reduce the temps of my 5.3 LS engine in my Jeep. The block has a nice black coating on it. When installing it onto the block, I put a light film of oil on the o-ring after pressing it into the groove to keep it from slipping out. I used Teflon on the oil cooler lines going into it. Overall it's a nice little oil plate kit.
