I ordered this handrail to provide support and balance at my front entrance. It looks great and seems to be very well built. Also pretty easy to install. Great black matte finish. 5 Stars.

This hand rail came simple in a cardboard box that included everything needed to install. I would recommend using better anchors if installing to sheet rock but better yet, right to a stud. The bar does have a light texture that is noticeable in use. This product was easy to assemble and install and as long as it is fastened to the wall well enough, it very sturdy.

Got this for the outdoor stairs that go from the porch to the yard or driveway. I like the simple pipe look and how sturdy it is. It was easy to install with just a drill and the included hardware. It went up in maybe 10 minutes. A lot of folks used it during the holidays and it held firm. Top notch!

I ordered this railing to use as a vertical grab bar next to a ladder leading to a loft in my garage. It's nominally sized as 1-inch pipe, though it is by no means a standard water pipe -- the walls are thinner and the finish is very smooth. It assembled almost without a hitch, meaning that the threads on one of the nipples were not quite perfect and I had to clean up the threads just a bit. But on the third of fourth try, it finally threaded successfully and that was that. The screws furnished are handsome black, but they are also just under 2" long, which was too long for the 2x4 mount I was using. No big deal, I used some 1-5/8" utility screws and the mount is now quite secure. Happy to have this grab bar in place now!

The description on this 3’ stair railing says it’s for indoor use - maybe because it might not be rust proof, but I’m willing to take that chance because it’s a perfect fit and it’s under a porch. We have one step down going outside and now that my husband and I are getting older, we don’t want to risk any falls so we are installing handrails in a few places in and around our home. I like the industrial look of this and is was very easy to install, especially because the screws went directly into wood, eliminating the need for anchors. Assembly was intuitive but, just in case, it comes with a detailed instruction book.

This handrail is really hefty. A sturdy and heavy pipe. It comes in pieces, and is very easy to assemble in about five minutes. Once assembled, the railing is easy to hang as well, taking perhaps another ten or fifteen minutes including careful placement and measuring. The metal piping is finished with black powder coating, so I expect it will last quite a while. The finish looks nice and feels good when you grab it. The hefty size feels very secure in the hand too. Each end piece has four long screws to attach it to the wall securely. This short handrail is just what we needed to place on the wall by a couple of stairs that are under the eaves on our back porch.

We live in a trilevel home, so we have a large set of steps to the basement which contains a banister, but our "short" stairs to the top floor have nothing. We have received several complaints that we should install a small banister there. Well, since I found this one, I decided to give it a shot.It was extremely easy to assemble, arrived in perfect condition, and came with everything I needed - screws, wall anchors, etc. It is very well made and will last a very long time. It's a black coated metal of some sort, and resembles a pipe, which I think is pretty cool and unique.
