I do not like that 2112 Percussion has not stated this is a B-Stock Drum that failed Seller Quality Control but they sell anyway at a reduced price. It is clearly on the Ludwig Box that it is B-STOCK and should be stated in the listing. Only way I found out was through asking 2112.

If there is ONE snare to own, THIS is it.This is the snare that just about all the greatest drummers in the history of rock, jazz, r&b, funk, blues, hip hop, etc., etc., etc. all used. It is the snare you've heard in more great pieces of recorded music than any other ever made, so is the sound and tone you know and love (and want!!!!). Most top pro drummers know it and use it regularly (even when under contract with other brands...).Great sounding, so crisp and perfect. Beautiful resonance and tone. Great feel too. Exquisitely made and drop dead beautiful to look at. A timeless classic. Incredible value considering that it's a premium, hand made professional drum (made in the U.S.A.). Although not cheap, worth every penny because you can go spend a lot more yet and it still won't be better than this one. I've played them all and always come back to this it. If it's got to be just one, it's really the only snare you'll ever need.
