I bought this primarily because of its brand name….same as my last name!! But I was surprised because it is very sturdy and does exactly what it is supposed to do. I have a 24 inch center finding straight edge and most of the time it is very cumbersome due to its length. I typically need a smaller one —just like this one. Happy with it…

I use my 24" center rule alot and wanted a handy small size for my toolbelt. As a centering measure, it's fine. Easy to read down to a 32nd, feels polished and light in the hand. The one flaw is the careless length the tool was cut off. It is still worth buying for every other reason.

The measurements on the ruler are easy to read. I especially like that the ruler is only 6" because I'm an avid card maker and it's easier to maneuver on the A2 base and it fits in my tool bag perfectly.

The Ludwig Precision #81206 6" Center-Finding Aluminum Straight Edge appears quite sturdy and is clearly marked. I used it for the first time today and I'll be tossing my old center-finding rule.

Great little ruler which measures in both 16ths and 32nds and does it from edge to edge too. Great for inside measuring in small boxes etc. Markings are quite visible.
