This ladder is very practical because it can be folded up, so you can transport it even in a small car or one with limited space. Despite being made of aluminum, it feels sturdy. Although it doesn't have all aluminum parts, some are made of iron, so be careful not to leave it outside without covering it against water. For professional installation work and occasionally climbing on roofs, I think it's a good option because it's strong enough. So I can recommend it as a good option.

I bought this for a specific project but wound up converting to this as my sole ladder. It’s surprisingly sturdy, easy to put together and move around. It’s not heavy at all and feels very stable when deployed. Great for the price.

Received the ladder in good condition and used it almost immediately. My task was a second floor trim board replacement and the ladder allowed me to reach that height easily in straight (full extension) configuration. I'm a big dude, about 250 pounds and 6 feet tall. I noticed right away that this ladder flexes A LOT. If I had to estimate, I'd say it was at least 4 to 6 inches of bend, maybe more, as I ascended to the top. Now, my weight with clothes and tools and such would probably approach the 275 mark very near the max. The ladder held and did not seem to have any damage to the joints where the flexing and stress was probably the greatest. I seriously doubt that I'd use this in scaffold position but for lighter people it's probably fine.Things that I noticed were slightly inconvenient were that the ladder is narrow and as a result my knees kept hitting the hinge joints when I'd try to descend. This is probably because I have semi-large feet, making it difficult to move them around one another to get them out of the narrow space. In full extension, the paint/tool platform is basically useless on the under side as it will sit at an angle where nothing can rest in it without falling. This was really more my own fault as I'm sure the platform is not intended to be used at the angle I needed the ladder to sit.Over all, this is a really nice ladder for the price and will cover most jobs of a typical home owner. If you get it, consider also getting a stand off that will fit it due to the flexing that it does. I didn't have one and I ended up bending a few shingles to the point of tearing. Other than those things, this is a really solid tool and I'm happy that I bought it.

We have some long box shrubs by a couple walls which make it impossible to get a regular ladder behind. The scaffolding setup on this ladder worked. We were finally able to get to the light fixtures on the wall behind the shrubs. Odd issue but it was a recurring problem anytime we needed to change light bulbs or do christmas lights behind those box shrubs.

Ladder would be very handy, seems well made and easy to use, however after opening the box I noticed 1 leg was "kinked" and also has a small hole in that location.I'm somewhat worried it may break/fail if used.See pictures I marked with Dykem of damage to 1 leg.Edit:Seller offered to send me a return label but I had already cut up the box before I removed the ladder from the plastic bag it was in, so the seller offered me $35 to have the ladder repaired by a welding shop in my area who will install a "patch" to the ladder.Seller has been in constant touch with me and has been great..I would highly recommend them.Changed the 3 star to a 5 star due to the wonderful experience with the seller.

Doesn’t seem as sturdy as I thought it would be. This ladder has more flex in it than an extension ladder. When the package was delivered the box had a bit of visible damage. Upon opening it I found there was a decent size dent in one of the rungs. The damage to the ladder didn’t render it useless in any way and being I on time restraints I used it. Overall it is a neat concept

When I purchased this multi-purpose ladder, I was surprised at how light it was compared to most other collapsable ladders. It is affordable and for petite people this is manageable. It does feel a little unsteady as you climb it higher up, and you would need to purchase a flat board to place on it when you fold it to stand on both legs as if you're going to use it to walk across on. Otherwise, you can use it for many projects, and it gives you quite a lot of height length as a 12.5-foot-tall ladder.
