I bought this and a more expensive bearing Packer that packs bearings completely differently. Of the two this was the best one. This works well, was easy to use, easy to clean, easy to figure out and came with instructions. The other bearing packer did not come with instructions and I was unable to figure it out. After use instead of thoroughly cleaning it put it in a ziplock baggie so that it will stay uncontaminated for the next use

I was hoping this would use less grease or be less messy (less clean up). But I think it uses more grease. Then I have to clean each part for storage until next year.Maybe if I played with it more I'd learn some tricks, but hand packing is not hard. And if you wear cloves clean up is easy.

Works great. Way less messy then packing bearings the old way. I will never pack bearings by hand again. This product cleans up well after use.
