I bought this for knitting in bed and while traveling.I love the variable intensity and the ability to adjust the location of the light—it’s perfect for knitting late into the evening! The lights stay in place once adjusted, which is a huge plus. My only complaint is that if I shift positions, I need to reposition the lights to get the right angle again; since that’s excepted I did not dock the review. Overall, it’s a handy tool that makes my crafting sessions so much easier!

This is a useful light for knitting and reading at night without greatly disturbing your partner. For knitting we like a standing lcd with flex neck so don’t use it as much as we thought but that is not a criticism of the light

Turned it on when it got it, worked fine. Charged overnight and now it doesn't turn on and won't hold the charge. Don't buy, should have bought it from the knitting store. But it was cheaper on Amazon

Absolutely recommend! Solves crafting on family movie night arguments about lighting and does it in excellent crafty style. The brightness and color settings are so useful and can be adjusted easily for different settings on each side, even when my mind is elsewhere or the other lights are too dim to see the buttons. The lights stay put where I point them, which is so important when I need to see a particular detail while using both hands. It’s a little more expensive than other options but I think it’s worth it for the details that make this light more versatile and useful.

UPDATEDA rep from Lumos, Meg, saw my review and gave me a discount on a USB-C version to try, but otherwise was the same light. Unfortunately, the same issues with the long arms and not bright enough were still an issue for me. I returned it. Meg’s customer service was exceptional. So although the light wasn’t right for me, the people at Lumos are first rate!I have a Glocusent neck light that I love to crochet by but it is a little heavy and tends to turn so I have to reposition it. I’ve seen so much about these Lumos lights that I bought one. The arms are a little too long, but it’s not nearly bright enough. I watched all the videos Lumos has posted for buyers on YouTube so I knew how to brighten and dim it. But the worst feature is that it’s a micro USB charger, not a USB-C. It was very difficult to plug in the charging cable to the light. I could see it was just a break waiting to happen. I returned it and bought myself another Glucusent. MUCH cheaper but much brighter and easier to use.

Absolutely fabulous. Exactly as described and very efficient once you get the hang of the on off sequence. Well worth the money. Nox

It takes a bit to get used to turning it on and off. But once you got it you got it

One arm will not turn ON and the other arm won’t turn OFF. It’s a very expensive “flashlight†and I expected it to work. I’ve tried charging and nothing helps. Now the item is out of stock so I can’t get another one after I return this piece of junk to see if they are all like this.Definitely do NOT recommend!

Although this works for my wife she does have trouble at times to work the button. The buttons are membrane type and if you press too hard on it like many people do (it does not come on so push harder on the button) it does not work. I had to teach my wife to press lightly to operate.
