Just what I needed. Fit perfectly and does turns fine. I can't speak about durability but it looks pretty standard.

The old knob kept falling off and I had completely forgotten it was supposed to be a dimmer as well. I popped it on, it fit snugly, and the dimmer worked. What a surprise! My kids were so excited that the knob doesn't fall off every time you walk by it and they had never seen a dimmer work.

I'm shocked by how well this fit on our very old light switch. I was sure that I would have to buy and return several before finding one that fit. First purchase, and perfect fit! It looks very nice, and it is very functional.

It only covered the tip of the metal holding post. It needed to be twice as long to reach finish with the plate. I have to order larger.
