Very nice handles, much better than the Nicholson ones they sell at the local hardware store. You don’t just jam theses on, they have a threaded steel insert that cuts treads into the file tang as you screw them on. They go on straight and VERY secure. You can also easily unscrew them and use them multiple times.One note, I bought the 4.5in size as it’s listed for 10†files but it was too small for a Nicholson 10†lathe file, the next size up would have fit better. No worries though, it fit a 8†mill file that was in need of a handle perfectly!

I like a wooden handle and was pleased that it didn’t have a logo painted or embossed on it.

What can I say - it's a file handle. Made in the USA, very nicely finished, and holds the file very with threads.

This works well and may be of special benefit when need arrises to replace file. Will unscrew easily.

These are the best file handles...period. Much better than the plastic ones from Nicholson. They thread right on and do not slip. Wholesale Tool has the best prices.
