In my opinion this is a wonderful product for people who are looking for something to boost sound! Now if you have crappy headphones you would probably have crappy sound with no bass. The Dilemma! (with LS2 helmet)-My purpose for this product was to enhance my sound quality and volume for my cardo smart pack system while riding. And of course the original headphones to this system did not work for me. (Buzzing Bee Sound) Ear placement could never be fixed. The pads were way to small and the person who install my system thought it would be a great ideal to cut into the foam of my helmet. So I was back to ear buds and I really didn't care to use the cardo system or the helmet unless I really , really had too! (husband has cardo system, we love riding together and I tend to be very talkative in which he finds it funny!)Solution!1. I replace cardo headphones to (over the ear)! This fixed my sound quality and reduce wind noise by 50% with no ear pain from pressure. This product did not change the sound quality; meaning the bass, the clarity, and the treble of the headphones. I brought headphones that had bass, treble, clarity. which overall improved the quality sound.for example : if you like headphones with bass then buy the ones with bass. This product just made it louder with no interference or distortion. If you experience interference or distortion it may be the way that you are to connect the device or the crappy headphones.2. I then connected the amplifier directly to headphones and the cardo system via 3.5mm splitter($3.97). Note: You have to choose one or the other but not both! Connect amp to phone or connect amp to headphones otherwise the device will not work properly! this was the reason why it tool me soo long!! I was trying to connect amp to phone and headphones. Please choose what works best for you. Connecting to headphones worked 10 times best for me! because i wanted to boost the sound from headphones. my music was bluethooth from phone via cardo so there was no need to connect headphones to cell phone. hopfully that made sense.3. I am now able to max volume on Amp fit it with my phone in my jacket pocket and Control volume from cardo device! I can now listen to my music and speak with cardo system.Any over the ear that is easy to dissemble for YOU!! This took me while but I saved SOOO much money!!! I didn't have to buy a new helmet! I am a female, 5'3'' and I weigh about 136lbs. I already have 3 helmets ( I have a small head so depending on the hairstyle. will determine what helmet I wear (small/medium/large)!the shipping was fast! Product made of great quality (it doesn't feel like it was cheaply made) So far I have not drop this product. it has exceeded music time and talk time for me . I took a 2 hour ride(GA to SC and back a total 4hrs to 5) using this. my battery did not die or drain. My headphones was under $22 splitter about $3 to $4 vs. spending more money on another helmet$199-$600 or more and then another cardo system and speakerupgrade because I would probably want 1 for every helmet that I own! You do the math!

Loss of hearing sucks so when I am watching my computer videos and the volumes can't be turned up any higher even with headphones, I can simply plug this in and turn on. Voila I can hear again. I also like that the charge lasts many hours and even when the battery is depleted, I can plug it into a USB C cord and still continue to use it. The size, quality of the build and the easy operation is all good.

When people talk about “cheap Generic Chinese junk†all being bad, this little device is an exception I point to. I bought this on a whim because I don’t like listening to music on earbuds, and when I would plug my full size Sennheiser headphones into my iPhone it simply wasn’t loud enough. This little no-name amplifier solves that problem and sounds amazing. I bought mine two months ago, and use it constantly. I can’t say how long a charge of it’s internal battery lasts, as it has always been more than enough and when I’m not using it I usually stick it on a charger. It charges with a simple micro USB, and comes with a cable, but not a charger, but who doesn’t have numerous USB chargers lying around these days? Operation is simple: 1/8†headphone jacks in and out: Connect the input to your headphone jack and plug your headphones into it’s output. It comes with a very short and a kind of short (3 foot-ish) connecting cable, and there’s nothing proprietary about them so you can use it will any 1/8†aux cable you already have. The sound is rich, full, clear and LOUD. Once you get past the minimal Engrish packaging and instructions, (it says “Enjoy the shock of HD!†on the box) it is well packaged in an anti-static bag, and the build quality seems very good. The case and power/volume knob are all metal, and the connecting jacks are mounted flush, even and sturdy. The only negative thing I can think of about it is the short cable has 90 degree bent plugs, and since the input jack is in the middle between the volume knob and output jack, it awkwardly sticks out sideways. Consequently I always use the other cord.My girlfriend liked this little amplifier so much I bought one for her too. This also solved her problem of the headphone jack in her iPhone not being loud enough for the aux input on her car stereo. Before she would have to turn the car stereo so loud it would become noisy with alternator whine in the music and annoying should she switch back to radio and forget to turn the car stereo back down first. With this little amp connected and sitting on her center console, she’s able to give her car stereo a level that matches the volume of its radio, resulting in sound as clean as when she is listening to the radio. If you have a smartphone, tablet, laptop computer or any other device that you wish had a louder analog output, this little amp is your solution. Buy it now while you still can!

My Sony headphones seemed a little sad so I hooked up this little amp to them. Only took about 10 minutes there was a little distortion. Now the good part….i disconnected mini amp from headphones and listened to any effects in my headphones. This mini amp must have woke up the drivers in the headphones because the Sony cans sounded great again.
