This is the second voltage converter I have bought. We are thoroughly delighted with this one. The on off button on the front which enables us to keep it off when not needed as an extra protection from a power surge, the circuit breaker and reset button as an extra button, and even the handle on the top which makes it easier to move are great. It works well and if you want a solid working, well designed voltage converter, this product is excellent.

Took it out the box it came in and I put it in a different box more suitable for an electrical equipment rewired it so I can run it as a autotransformer put bigger leads and letรขโฌโขs goรขโฌยฆthe picture you see of it open is me testing it to see how to power it on when I switched junction boxes I took off all the rats nest of wires and wire nuts

I saw some reviews mentioning a รขโฌลsmellรขโฌย I have not had any smell from my unit, and it stays on 24/7 conditioning the power to my UK lava lamp that runs on 240. This thing doesnรขโฌโขt make a noise and does not get hot or even warm. Just supplies the correct voltage needed, quietly, and with no unwanted side effects or รขโฌลsmellsรขโฌย.

Used this device to convert from 110V to 220V single phase, then used a VFD to go from single phase to 3 phase. Worked amazingly well to run motors 5hp and under. This device was easily mountable to a custom frame and easy to take apart for cleaning.

We had the transformer installed for few months and this will be our 2nd one as the first worked very well. Connected 208 Volt Air Conditioning unit which is compatible. Then it stopped working. Amazon directed me to contact the manufacturer, which I did and was told to connect back with Amazon for a replacement. For some odd reason, replacement isn't available. Amazon advised me to return and repurchase which was quite the inconvenience for us. So I reconnected with the manufacturer directly and without much hassle nor any question asked, they agreed to ship me another transformer. I'm extremely satisfied with their customer service and how they'll back you when a problem arise.Thank you!

Useless. The device arrived and it hasnรขโฌโขt worked from the first time I plugged it in and switched it on. It was set to the correct voltage so the issue is clearly with the device. Buy a different transformer - not this one.
