I have to tell you excellent product delivered in two days. Made in USA and even packaged very intelligently. Was able to replace the baffles in my Osburn stove for less money and a denser product than OEM. Easy to cut with a sharp sheetrock knife.

The old fiberboard baffle in my woodstove was miserably fragile, and had deteriorated badly, leaving holes and large cracks that decreased the stoves performance and efficiency. Exact replacement would have been over 2x the cost of this blanket.I decided to make my own baffle using this with another material (1/2" cement board coated with water-glass) to replace the ceramic fiberboard baffle in my woodstove. I cut this blanket to slightly larger than the original baffle size (cut the cement board to the exact size) so that it would close all gaps. The blanket sits on top of the cement board. Together, the wood stove actually performs better than new, nd I don't worry about reduced efficiency. When the cement board wears out, I'll replace it with a new one while the blanket stays in place.Much cheaper and better than the rigid ceramic fiberboard.

This cut-to-fit blanket works for my wood burning insert stove. The 1/2 inch thickness is perfect to sit on top of the breaks. The price is very reasonable compared to other similar products.

The approved spare Quadrafire Yosemite baffle board dimensions were 1/2 inch narrower than this boardbut half the price - correct thickness: 1/2".Material cuts easily with a sharp knife- Some trimming ensures a snug fit.Tricky fitting the associated blanket behind- reviewed separately as another generic itemYoutube has helpful videos about removing the associated aeration pipes you may have,Stove now noticeably more efficient & easier to controlDont; forget- check glass fiber sealing ribbon and dampers below while at it.When you get your smoke stack swept baffle board this item may get lost or crackedso CHECK IT.Without it flue gasses shoot straight up the stack, overheat it and waste fuel while making a low firedifficult to manage

Installed for about 4 days, after mild heat (stove was closed down most of the time) the middle began to sag and then split in half and fell out, trash product don't buy.

This product works however didn’t hold up long. It already has some holes in it and we have been super careful when putting wood in the wood stove as to not bump it. Not terrible to install but you do have to cut it. I’ll need to order a new one and will spend the money to get one with higher quality.

The replacement baffle board from Lennox, the wood stove manufacturer came 4 in a kit, but I only needed one, and was to take 3 weeks delivery from the USA. This was the most cost effective way to go. I will say that the original piece of baffle board was more rigid, but may have baked that rigid from 6 years of continual firing from November through to April each year. I easily cut my piece with an exacto knife, after letting the stove cool down overnight, I installed the new piece in minutes. The stove is fired up again, I and will periodically check that the piece is still working as it should. I would have rated it as a 5, but want to see how long it will last.
