Tips:
When you first use a new instrument, the strings and column are not in a stable state, so it is easy to loosen them, so the sound may change again within a minute or two after tuning.Please be patient and repeat the adjustment three to five times, and tune it every day for a week or so.The strings will remain relatively stable in a range finally.
When tuning the strings, the wrench must not be adjusted too much at once, especially when fine tuning, just use a little force. Screwing 30 degrees or 45 degrees at once will break the strings.

As hoped for the lyre came with the strings about a third lower in pitch so no stress on the instrument during shipping. I started tuning the next day and it took only about 10 minutes. I played it a bit and it needed only a few strings retuned. The instrument is extremely well made, has a bit of weight to it which I like and has a very full warm sound. I had planned on this as an introduction instrument but I believe I am going to use this one for many years. Comes with excellent quality case, extra set of strings, tuning wrench, cleaning cloth, pick, and a booklet.

I got the Lyre and it came with everything advertised except extra strings, which I found to be a problem because while tuning the strings easily snap.
