Had to pull it apart and tweak it a little, turned so hard it would have broken the knob. OK for the price.

Bought to fit a 1999 Kawasaki Prairie 400 4x4 to replace a defective part. Fairly close to factory on the actual fuel tap but the knob that connects to the tap is 1†longer than the factory. So instead of knob sitting flush with the gas tank cover as designed by kawasaki, it protrudes out far enough where I’ve banged it with my knee a few times. Still have the original knob so out with the new in with the old. At least the actual tap fits and works perfectly.Kit also came with a fuel filter, this year model does not have one, so extra parts to sit on my shelf.

I installed the unit on my quad and it worked, but when it came to the new fuel line and the fuel filter, I found that they were substandard and I didn’t use them. I reused my old fuel line and filter. When it came to the fuel shut off handle, was installed and it ended up sticking out approximately 1 1/2†too far so it would hit my leg when sitting on the quad, so I ended up having to reuse the old handle.
