Got this tap for a Ford engine block we are building, and I need to chase the threads for the head's bolts. The longer length is required, and this works great.

Thread cutter snapped in pre-tapped hole while testing. Can’t even remove the broken head because it is 3†deep.

I damaged engine block threads by over tightening the head bolt during its installation. With that tap I didn’t have to remove the head again, I simply found same bolt 1mm larger in diameter and made a new thread. Engine is happy. Much cheaper solution than what they charge for special kits.
