The only issue was the holes for the bolts were too small and we had to ream them out a bit!

I've used aftermarket straps a few times, this time for a Deere 625i and am pleased to see their length is perfect, tail gate sits dead level with bed, most have been too long. You will have to ever so slightly drill out the hole on the molded end, just a hair too small for the bolt but easy to drill.
