Threads are tapered on both sides so you can't bottom a thread.

This item was only marked with the mm size not the pitch for the thread. And forther more, I will never order any thing that comes from China.

The die did have the correct thread size and pitch.It was quite tiny -- the whole die wasn't much bigger than a 10-24 nut. I was expecting a full-sized die, and didn't have a handle small enough to fit it. Fortunately I was able to use it with a socket wrench.The threads didn't cut deeply enough on a 1/8" steel shaft to engage a nut, not sure why.Fortunately, for my application, I was able to use a solid brass rod, and the threads did cut correctly on that.Overall, mediocre. Would have preferred a full-sized die that fit my handle, and worked on steel.
