I bought this to clone my old c: drive (256GB Samsung 950 Pro) as I was very low on space. I picked up a 990 2TB Evo and it took less than 5 minutes to clone. Pretty amazing. Keep in mind this will clone your drive and it’s partitions. So in my case after it was cloned, my new drive was still 256Gb. I needed to extend the c volume with a third part tool (minitool). It was a few extra $$ but worth it. I didn’t need to build a new PC.

I was updating my laptop's m.2 sata ssd from a 128gb drive to a 1 tb drive. Bought this to clone my primary Windows drive. I was very apprehensive that it just might destroy my working drive. To my delight, it worked perfectly. Very easy to use and SUPER fast. Only took a couple of minutes and it was done. Plugged the new drive in and tried to boot up. After a moment, up came Windows. I would recommend this product for this task. I'm very pleased and glad I purchased it.

Used it to replicate and recover several drives flawlessly to this point. Using dd_rescue to replicate and recover not the built in option.

Right out of the box, using the supplied cables, windows doesn't even recognize that it's plugged it.No new device - no ping sound and nothing on device manage.Inserted drive, they fall out far too easy.. which doesn't matter because the drive doesn't work anyways.The drive is directly out of the computer I plugged it into- so I know it works.

First time using this type of docking station and cloning this type of drive. I’ve only used the HDD and SSD docking station. What a difference in performance speed. My NVME drive on my laptop was only 500Gb, but I was Amazed that it was done in less than 10 mins. I can’t say for sure how quick because I walked away to do something and came back, it was done. I almost thought it couldn’t have transferred that quick but when I checked the drive, everything was there.I definitely feel it was well worth it and didn’t have any issue with temperature of the unit. The appearance is nice, due to how compact the unit is. Quality seems to be above average from what I have seen.

Only used it twice but both times went down as expected with no issues. It is quick and easy to use, and I don't have any negative things to say. There are some requirements so read the instructions so you are aware of the limitations.
