I purchase several things on Amazon and was giving pretty in-depth reviews. From this point on, here's the new agenda…. if it works as advertised, is well made, meets or exceeds the description, is a value, and arrives in a fair amount of time, it will get a "star rating" equal to what my expectations were/are. If it doesn't meet these criteria, then I will most definitely and descriptively tell the short comings of the products and you as a consumer will not have to go through the trouble of buying the product without some background knowledge. If the sell pulls that item and relists under another description, I will put the exact same review on the seller's feedback page. Sellers have done this a couple of times in the past, and I was true to my word then as well as now. DR

I got these as part of a bike repair project and they seem to have done fine. They’re not super exciting, but they do the job just fine. They fit standard M8 screws well and the nylon insert is matching black.I’m not a fan of how oily they are. That’s a big letdown, especially since I had to clean them off before use. It’s just cheap manufacturing to use this much oil treatment and leave the buyer to deal with it.Overall they’re fine, just messy.

I got these to change out some nuts on overseas built products. Time will tell if the insert quality stands up to use.

If I could leave no stars I would. Use the M10 locknuts on some wheel casters, just got them tightened and they stripped the threads in the nuts, what a pile of junk. They are so soft, they might as well be made of nylon or aluminum. I'll just have to use the box as a paperweight since they are not good for any thing else
