I have 2 printers that I am upgrading with things like tool holders.I've been using the regular TNuts and they tend to move around a lot which makes placement a bit of a pain.I never heard of spring-loaded ones before but in my limited use, I find them much better to work with as far as positioning is concerned.

Do you use 2020 extrusions or build 3d printers? Then get these! they are a million times better than the old hammerhead t nuts, they go in and stay in place. But are still easy to remove if you change it up later. Super high quality as well!

I have experience with 2 brands of inserts like this prior to getting these - the first is the ones that came with my VORON kit, the second is random Amazon ones. These inserts are right in the middle on quality. - The VORON ones have very little excess play, screws fit well and do not knock the inserts loose. - The prior random amazon ones fall out constantly while I am trying to thread a screw through another part and in - These do not easily fall out or have issues threading the screws in, but I might consider the movement within the rail a bit excessive (is this a feature or a bug - that may depend on what you are doing. Once tight, they will still hold in place just fine, they just do less to self-center)

Got these M3 Roll in Spring Loaded M3.0.5 T-nuts for some projects, they fit my 2020 extrusion perfectly! I've never used these before so it's been a lot of fun to be able to set them in to the extrusion, and the hold from the spring works great. Makes it super easy to set them up, align them where I need them, and then get my bolt threaded into them. I want to mount everything to my workbench now with these! I haven't found any with manufacturing defects and they seem to be made well.

These roll-in t-nuts are ideal for attaching items to 20x20 or 40x40 extrusions commonly found in 3D printer frames. They remain securely in place, making alignment and locking in a breeze. I prefer them over hammerhead nuts, which frequently fail to lock in properly. Overall, these are incredibly useful to have on hand for any 3D printer with extrusion frames.

Nice polished finish and the spring loaded bearing moved smoothly. These roll-in T-nuts were a perfect fit in the 2020 slots and the threads were clean. Definitely a nice product and worked exactly as expected.

Fit the t rails well, handy to snap into place wherever you need them. Extremely handy to have.
